    Guidelines

    • Minors are available to undergraduate students across The New School. For students interested in pursuing deeper study of these subject areas, opportunities are available through the self-designed major in Liberal Arts. • Students can declare up to two minors.
    • Students are encouraged to successfully complete two courses required by the minor before formally declaring a minor.
    • Students must earn the required minimum grades to apply courses toward a minor (grade requirements and other policies are set by the minor's divisional home).
    • Students can retroactively apply successfully completed courses toward a minor up until the time their degree is conferred.
