The Culture and Media minor is offered through Eugene Lang
College of Liberal Arts.
Culture and Media minors gain an understanding of cultural and technological histories, concepts, debates, politics, and practices. Students have the chance to select from rich curricular offerings in culture, media, and screen studies. See the university

Curriculum
The minor in Culture and Media requires completion of a minimum of 18 credits, distributed as follows:
- 2 Introductory Core courses (6 credits)
- 3-4 additional LCST Culture and Media courses, at least two at the 3000 level or higher (12 credits)
Total credits: 18
Students must receive a grade of C or better in all courses taken to fulfill the minor.
Eligibility
Minors are available to undergraduate students across The New School. Please meet with your Student Success advisor to discuss how a minor will fit in with your overall degree requirements. If you have additional questions about requirements for the Culture
