Faculty Senate

The purpose of the University Faculty Senate is to provide thoughtful advice and counsel to the President, Provost, Deans, and Board of Trustees on all matters that affect the academic life of The New School. Although the Faculty Senate may address any educational or administrative matter with implications for more than one school, the emphasis is on issues of concern to the entire university. As the organization representing the faculty as a whole, the senate is committed to ascertaining the views of the faculty and keeping the faculty fully informed of the senate’s activities.

The co-chairs and other members of the Executive Committee invite your suggestions and comments. Please email ufs@newschool.edu.
