How does culture influence the theories and research findings in psychology? The research in my lab centers on questions of cultural psychology. Our research examines cultural influences on the development of social cognition and interpersonal relationships. We are involved in cultural research on such topics as family and friend relationships, social support and coping, motivation, social cognition, and morality.
