    • Students from the Anthropology department are at the forefront of addressing critical social and political issues of our time. With a grounding in cutting-edge empirical, historical, and ethnographic scholarship, our Anthropology students are accepted to prestigious PhD programs, or find employment working in their area of study.

      Master’s Students

      Our MA students have continued their studies at top universities, including Princeton, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, and New York University.

      They have also found employment as writers, analysts, program managers, and more at companies like AllState and Smashing Ideas and organizations like Accion U.S. Project Network, SAVVY Contemporary Berlin, and MDRC.

      • Julienne Obadia (2017) is a junior research fellow at Kings College, University of Cambridge
      • Grzegorz Stanislaw Sokol (2017) is part-time faculty at The New School
      • Kadija Ferryman (2016) is a postdoctoral fellow at the Data and Society Research Institute
      • Sergio Andrade (2015) is a professor at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Quito, Ecuador
      • Diego Caguenas Rozo (2015) is director at the Center of Ethics and Democracy, Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia
      • David Bond (2014) is an assistant professor at Bennington University
      • Matthew Rosen (2014) is an assistant professor at Ohio University
