    Howard Steele is Professor of Psychology, Director of Graduate Studies, and Co-Director (with Miriam Steele) of the Center for Attachment Research.

    Concentrations: Attachment theory and research; intergenerational patterns of attachment; mourning in response to trauma and loss; attachment-based interventions to prevent child maltreatment and promote secure, organized attachments
