    Trained as an architect and an historian, Prof. Worsnicks research focuses on architecture and design culture of the late-nineteenth and twentieth centuries in eastern Europe and the United States. His courses have included the following: Designing Modernity, on ways in which 20th century designers shaped the discourses that they both advocated and employed; New York: Architecture, which examines the history of the architecture and planning of the city; Theories of Urbanism, which considers the approaches to urban design in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; and History of World Architecture II, a large-lecture course on architecture after 1650.
