    Alison Kinney is the author of Hood (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2016). Her essays and articles have appeared online and/or in print at The NewYorker.com, The Paris Review Daily, Harper's, Lapham's Quarterly, The New York Times, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Longreads, The Believer, LitHub, Hyperallergic, and other publications. She teaches nonfiction writing.
