Parsons School of Art and Design History and Theory Presents Fashion in Film: Marnie

7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Parsons School of Art and Design History and Theory presents Fashion in Film next film screening:
Marnie
, Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, 1963.

Introduced by John Epperson, actor, writer, film historian, and creator of Lypsinka.

Tippi Hedren stars as a beautiful, but frigid, kleptomaniac with a secret past who is caught and tamed by industrialist-ethnologist-playboy Sean Connery in Hitchcock's psychosexual masterpiece, considered by many to be the last of his great films. One of Hedren's best lines in this film: "What do you mean 'what will I do with myself?' I had, of course, assumed that I would become a society hostess."
