Summer is the time to travel to new places, make new friends, tackle new challenges, and discover something new about yourself. Parsons offers possibilities to reinvent yourself in various summer programs.

PRE-COLLEGE, COLLEGE/ADULT, AND GRADUATE-LEVEL PROGRAMS

Parsons summer programs are available for students from grade 3 through graduate level. Pre-college students can enroll in Summer Intensive Studies: New York, Summer Intensive Studies: Paris, or Parsons Pre-College Academy. College-age and adult students can choose from Summer Intensive Studies: New York, Summer Intensive Studies: Paris, and Summer Studies in Constructed Environments. For students at the graduate level, Parsons offers three summer programs: Art and Design Education, Decorative Arts Graduate Seminar in Scandinavia, and Leadership in the Arts.

New York or Paris?

Our Summer Intensive Studies programs, offered in New York and Paris, are two- and four-week-long boot camps in art and design open to pre-college students (age 16 years or older) and college-level and adult students. The Summer Intensives provide academically rigorous classes in artistically relevant environments.

Pre-college students entering grades 3–12 next fall can enroll in summer courses at Parsons Pre-College Academy in New York.

Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting Design

Designed for college students and graduates, the five-week Summer Studies in Constructed Environments is a studio-based curriculum in architecture, interior design, and lighting design. This program prepares students to study for a professional master's degree and/or to embark on rewarding design careers.

Graduate-Level programs

College graduates in related fields can acquire a foundation in college-level art and design teaching in our online Art and Design Education program or pursue a special graduate degree that combines studio work and leadership training in the Leadership in the Arts programs. Graduate students can also travel to Scandinavian capitals for a Decorative Arts Seminar.
