GRADUATE Admission TOURS
Recommended for prospective and admitted graduate students. Tours are ideal for anyone who would like to see our campus and get a feel for the school but is not looking for answers to specific academic or admission questions. To schedule a tour, click here; in the category field, select The New School - Graduate Programs. Parsons does not support self-guided tours.
SPEAK WITH AN ADMISSION COUNSELOR
Recommended for prospective graduate students who have not yet submitted an application or who have recently been admitted to Parsons (not recommended for applicants awaiting an admission decision). If you have questions about a Parsons graduate program or would like more information about applying, request an appointment with an admission counselor by emailing ThinkParsonsGrad@newschool.edu.
Speak with a PROGRAM director
Recommended for prospective and admitted graduate students. To learn more about a specific graduate curriculum and department, make an appointment to speak with the program director. Find contact information in the faculty directory.
OBSERVE A CLASS
Recommended for prospective and admitted graduate students. Class visitations are not available for all graduate programs at Parsons. The MA programs are the best equipped to accommodate visitors. To observe a Fashion Studies or Design Studies class, email Rebecca Nison (firstname.lastname@example.org); to observe a History of Decorative Arts and Design class, email Sarah Lichtman (email@example.com). For all other departments, email the program director to see if a class visitation is possible. Find contact information in the faculty directory.
PARSONS INFORMATION SESSIONS
Recommended for prospective graduate students. Information sessions hosted by the graduate admission office provide a brief overview of Parsons, The New School, and the various Parsons graduate programs. Admission counselors explain the admission and financial aid process and allow time for Q & A. These sessions are ideal for prospective students who have not yet applied to a program. View the schedule and register for an information session.
