  • Nuno de Campos is a Portuguese artist residing in the United States since 1995. He first exhibited at the Boston Clifford-Smith Gallery after having completed a Masters of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Since, his work was shown in the United States and abroad, in venues like the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Washington DC; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; The Drawing Center, New York; The Prague Biennale II, Czech Republic; PLMJ Foundation and EDP Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal, Galeria Casa Triângulo, São Paulo, Brazil; Peter Fingesten Gallery at Pace University, New York, Virginia Commonwealth University Art Gallery, among others. His shows have also garnered critical reviews in ArtForum, Art in America, and Tema Celeste. He received fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts (Painting 2006), Pollock Krasner Foundation, Massachusetts Cultural Council, The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
