    Al Hallak

    Profile

    Al Hallak is a producer, director, educator, and entrepreneur. For over a decade, Hallak has produced and directed numerous successful film projects. His sci-fi thriller, The Paradigm, earned several honors, including The Award of Excellence at the Los Angeles Movie Awards in 2010.

    Hallak worked as a TV producer and director before moving to Los Angeles in 2009. In 2013, he started his own film production company in Burbank, California, received a certificate of recognition from the Mayor of Burbank, and was commended by The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

    As an educator, Hallak has taught at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and currently teaches at The New School and New York University in New York City. He also has served as a consultant at the United States Agency for Global Media in Washington, DC.

    Hallak has served as a judge and critic at competitive film screening events including The Washington West Film Festival and Nashville Film Festival. He founded Pitch to Screen® in 2017 to promote innovative cinematic works from both celebrated filmmakers and emerging talent.
