Dream-In Project

Exhibitions are on-going throughout the festival. Please check the Exhibition listings.

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Carlos Teixeira, an assistant professor at Parsons and co-director of the DREAM:IN Project, explores dreams as a portal through which sustainable ideas and plans evolve, for application in fields like policy, business, and development. Teixeira and his collaborators are realizing their idea in Bangalore, India, a crossroads city for design, entrepreneurship, and innovation. In this event, they present projects that are part of this venture, as well as videos depicting common Indian dreams. Audiences also get a preview of a new crowd-sourcing portal, through which they can share their urban dreams.

This event is a part of the Parsons Festival 2011.
