The Swiss luxury watch company TAG Heuer invited Parsons product design students to reinterpret the iconic Monaco watch. The partnership and competition—a first for TAG Heuer—involved students collaborating in the design studio under the mentorship of TAG Heuer master watchmakers. Three winning teams were selected, and the top design may be produced as a limited-edition piece. The students’ work is on display on May 20 from 12:00 to 1: 30 p.m. at the Glass Corner. The results of the project are also being presented in a running slide show in the lobby of the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center. This event runs from 5/16-5/22, each day from 10am-6pm.
