PART OF PARSONS FESTIVAL 2012: A two-week gallery exhibition featuring installations and performances, objects and apps, games and video, and interactive experiences that explore the dynamic role of technology in our current lives. These 80 projects represent a unique convergence of effort designed to explore issues related to technology--including its value. We invoke the playful, the informative, the employering, the critical, and the subersive to investigate emerging issues and provoke discussion. Students will discuss their work in a two-day symposium (on Tuesday, May 15, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at 65 West 11th Street, 5th floor, 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at 55 West 13th Street, 2nd floor and on Wednesday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at 65 West 11th Street, 5th floor).
