  • Andrew Cornell Robinson is an artist, educator and designer. He is the principle of acrStudio Inc., the arts and crafts research studio which serves as a platform for his independent and collaborative projects pairing his work with apparel designers, millinery artisans, dancers, videographers, textile designers, technologists, writers, activists, anthropologists, scientists, et al. In addition to his work as an artist and educator he has also worked as a creative director and interaction designer for over fifteen years. Working on branding, user experience and digital design with firms such as Siegel and Gale, R/GA, BBDO, Razorfish and companies such as Chanel, L'Oreal, Lowe's, The New School, New York Stock Exchange, Citibank, Bank of America, Standard, The Street, Goldman Sachs, Verizon and Caterpillar. He received his Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from the School of Visual Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He also studied ceramic sculpture at the Glasgow School of Art. He is a member of the faculty with Parsons, the New School for Design in the Strategic Design Studies program; where he teaches art and design.
