    Week-long orientation seminar

    All students participate in the orientation seminar on the Parsons campus in NYC, which includes guest speakers and retail visits.

    We encourage you to join the seminar in person on the Parsons campus, but you have the option of completing a fully online version of the seminar.

    Option of completing the program from anywhere in the world

    No. You are required to attend weekly on-campus classes, held on Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays.

    Yes. You participate in online courses featuring asynchronous work (on your own time) combined with scheduled real-time class sessions.

    Flexible schedule for working professionals

    Classes are held during intensive weekend sessions (Friday evenings and Saturdays), allowing you to maintain a regular weekday work schedule.

    Online learning and coursework is largely self-scheduled, with one real-time class session lasting approximately two hours each week, enabling you to maintain your work schedule.

    NYC experience

    While studying and living in NYC you have opportunities to work full-time, complete internships, network with industry leaders, and visit fashion-related sites throughout the city.

    You access custom video content such as interviews with industry leaders recorded on location and virtual site visits to retail venues, showrooms, and fashion headquarters throughout the city.

    Interaction with classmates

    You come to campus for weekend classes and engage in group work throughout each semester. 

    You attend a weekly class session held in real-time and engage in group work with your cohort throughout each semester.

    Access to on-campus events, resources, and facilities

    You have full access to all events and program-related facilities at Parsons and The New School.

    You have access to digital libraries and, when in NYC, to all on-site facilities and on-campus events.
