The Master of Professional Studies degree is awarded for completion of 30 credits. Transfer credits are not accepted. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and fulfill all requirements in a timely manner.
This 12-month curriculum consists of a fall, spring, and summer semester. The program begins with a one-week orientation seminar that provides a deep dive into the New York City fashion industry, including guest speakers and retail visits.
Each semester consists of intensive, five-week course modules as well as one semester-long course. Each five-week on-campus course begins with a full-day Sunday session, followed by evening and weekend classes and ending with a full-day Saturday session.
The next course begins on the Sunday immediately after that.
Students can choose to complete the program either on campus in NYC or fully online. Both formats are designed for close interaction with faculty and peers and offer a schedule that is specially designed to meet the needs of working professionals.
