Where are you from, and where did you grow up?
I was born in Sweden, but I lived in Germany and the United States before coming to Paris.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Swedish and English and I am learning French.
Do you feel at home in Paris?
Paris is my favorite city, and I love to be surrounded by the beautiful architecture every day. The Parsons community has become like a family to me, and my friends from Parsons are what makes it feel like home. At the same time, Paris is such a large
city with so many opportunities that every day I still find something new, even after living here for over a year.
How does Paris inspire you in your work?
Paris is a large city, and one can't help but be inspired by the many ambitious people in it.
What is your favorite class?
I love almost all of my classes, but Introduction to Political Economy is definitely a favorite of mine. It's a great class to have in such an international environment as Parsons Paris.
What does your typical weekend look like?
A typical weekend is taking the time for myself to sleep in, catch up on schoolwork, and cook a nice meal — to do the things I don't have time for on the weekdays. I also started running with some friends from school.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love to ice-skate when I have the chance, something I have been doing since I was young.
What advice would you give incoming students?
Smile a lot, talk to everyone, be open-minded, and get a calendar in which to write assignments and homework down. Oh, and don't leave things to the last minute.
