  • The Master of Fine Arts degree is awarded for completion of 60 credits. Transfer credits are not accepted. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and fulfill all requirements in a timely manner.

In the core studios of your first year, you are immersed in cutting-edge artistic projects and experiences led by renowned guest artists and designers. You also explore a broad range of topics and techniques in interdisciplinary seminars.

During your third semester, you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and networks by either interning within a Paris-based or European fashion house, art studio, or creative industry, or by experiencing a different MFA program on the NYC campus such as the MFA Transdisciplinary Design, MFA Textiles or MFA Fine Arts. The fourth and final semester of the program is dedicated entirely to your thesis project.
