The priority deadline for on-campus housing has passed. At this time, on-campus Housing Waitlists are made available to allow students to express interest in living on campus and/or interest in a particular residence hall or room. Please make sure to read all the information below carefully.
How does the Housing Waitlist work?
Students looking for on-campus housing have the opportunity to add themselves to the housing waitlist, on which they can indicate their preferences for building and room type (if applicable). Students will be contacted as on-campus housing becomes available and in the order in which they appear on the waitlist. If you are contacted and decide that the space that is being offered is not suitable for you, the space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
How can I join the Housing Waitlist?
Students who want to join the Housing Waitlist can do so by visiting the Housing Portal.
Log in to the Housing Portal.
In the navigation bar, find the Housing Application link. The link will take you to the Housing Application landing page. The landing page provides you with details of life on campus and the application process.
Click Continue to go to the Housing Waitlist page, where you will see a brief message indicating that the Housing Waitlist has been activated. If you wish to join the Housing Waitlist, click Continue.
When joining the Housing Waitlist, you will be asked for your building preference and room type preference. If you leave these fields blank, you will be contacted for the first available option. Please note that listing a specific building and room type preference may reduce your chances of getting on-campus housing. Note: Housing Waitlists are activated once the priority deadline has passed.
How can I check my status on the Housing Waitlist?
After you have added yourself to the Housing Waitlist, you can check your status (your number on the list) by following the same steps you took to join the Housing Waitlist.
How can I remove myself from the Housing Waitlist?
Once you have joined the waitlist, you can remove yourself from the waitlist on the Housing Waitlist Status page. Follow the same steps you took to join the waitlist. If you secure housing off campus and are no longer interested in on-campus housing, please remove yourself from the waitlist. Doing so will prevent you from receiving unnecessary communication from the Housing and Residential Education team.
