• Congratulations on your decision to join our community, and welcome to The New School! New Student Orientation will be held August 19–23, 2024. Registration for Orientation will open in late June or early July. You will receive communications from our First Year Experience and Orientation team throughout the summer.

    Parents and families will attend Family Orientation on August 19, 2024.

    Orientation introduces new students and families to all the resources and opportunities available to New School students as they start their journey at the university. Students will meet the faculty and staff who are here to support them and begin to build academic and social communities with new classmates from around the world.

    Orientation is required for all students in on-campus programs and is optional for students enrolled in online-only programs.

Undergraduate Adult Learners

To apply to any of our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.

Graduates

To apply to any of our Master's, Doctoral, Professional Studies Diploma, and Graduate Certificate programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
