If you have comparable health insurance coverage and wish to waive participation in the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must complete an online waiver form. The deadline to submit an enrollment or waiver form for the fall 2022 semester is September 12, 2022.
An online waiver form must be completed every fall semester. New students admitted for the spring semester must complete this form before the spring deadline and again in the fall for the following academic year.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check your student account. Students can monitor their accounts through my.newschool.edu (click on Electronic Bills, then View Account Activity on the Me tab) to verify that the appropriate credit appears in your student account. Your waiver will be applied to your student account approximately one to two business days after you are registered and billed for the semester.
The waiver form for the 2022-2023 school year will be available on May 4, 2022, at University Health Plans. The waiver deadline for the fall 2022 semester is September 12, 2022.
The enrollment/waiver deadlines for the 2021-2022 school year have passed. Waiver requests are no longer being accepted.
