Students who wish to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan must submit an online enrollment form. All eligible students are charged for the plan upon course registration.
The deadline to submit an enrollment or waiver form for new students who are enrolling for the spring 2024 semester is February 12, 2024. The enrollment and waiver forms are available at universityhealthplans.com/tns.
We recommend that new students enrolling for spring submit the enrollment form by the first week of January to ensure that their insurance ID card is available by the start date of the plan, which is January 15, 2024.
2023–2024 School Year
- The fall semester coverage period is August 20, 2023, to January 14, 2024. The spring semester coverage period is January 15 to August 19, 2024.
- When you elect to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan in the fall, you will be automatically enrolled in the spring semester, provided you are a registered student in the spring. If you enroll in the fall, you do not need to submit another
enrollment form in the spring. If you are not registered in the spring, your insurance coverage will automatically terminate at the end of the fall semester coverage period (January 14).
- If you graduate in the fall semester, your insurance coverage will terminate on January 14. You (and any enrolled dependents) will not be eligible for insurance coverage for the spring semester, since you will not be a registered student in the spring.
