• Registered students are automatically charged for student health insurance. Students who want to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) need to complete an enrollment form on the University Health Plans website. The deadline to submit an enrollment form for fall 2025 was September 9, 2025. 

    2025–2026 School Year

    • The fall semester coverage period is August 20, 2025, through January 14, 2026. The spring semester coverage period is January 15 to August 19, 2026.
    • If you elect to enroll in the SHIP in the fall, you will be automatically enrolled in the spring semester, provided you are a registered student in the spring. If you are not registered in the spring, your insurance coverage will automatically terminate at the end of the fall semester coverage period (January 14). Please note that a delay with your spring registration may cause a delay with your spring health insurance enrollment.
    • If you graduate in the fall 2025 semester, your insurance coverage will terminate on January 14, 2026. You (and any enrolled dependents) will not be eligible for insurance coverage for the spring 2026 semester, since you will not be a registered student in the spring.
