  • Learn to Be an Artist in the World

    Mannes School of Music

Levy Lorenzo calls himself “a musician who plays electronics.” A creator who combines a love of music with an affinity for machines, Lorenzo is engaged in an intensive exploration of what is musical and how music is played. Through his work and teaching, he expands boundaries, producing unique, visionary creations that ask artists and audiences to reimagine what is possible.

The merging of technology and music is a central part of every student’s experience at Mannes School of Music. An understanding of the way technology has shaped and transformed music and performance is essential to full engagement with classical music today.
