    Joelle Rodriguez - I G N I S /1 of 4
I am a Colombian artist whose works explore current social, political, and environmental issues. I G N I S /1 of 4 highlights the destruction of our planet through the abuse of the element of fire, particularly in the Colombian Amazon Rainforest, which is at a tipping point. By surrounding viewers with floating decaying life, the work reveals how communities unwittingly create fires that cause climate change and deforestation and damage the environment. By exposing the way these invisible flames keep expanding, I aim to spark a change of perspective and behavior designed to benefit our planet and future generations.
