    First-Year Curriculum

    Advising

    Using ice and berry extract (both organic components), we created Catalyst expressing our individual self through the ice and its nature of being affected easily by outside stimulus. The extract mixed with hot water acts as the outside influences that ‘catalyse’ the change in us, and speed up the melting of ice.

    Catalyst is an installation representing our interactions with people and objects around us and their affect on our personality – leaving the own self, once a blank canvas with multiple traces.
