    Stella Lee Prowse

    Profile

    Stella Lee Prowse is an interdisciplinary designer and educator originating from Sydney, Australia. She received a Master of Science in Nature Inspired Design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design at Parsons the New School for Design in New York.

    She is the co-founder of Aléa, an experimental design and research studio based in Paris. Aléa’s practice consists of material research, regenerative design and consulting. With a critical approach to biodesign, Aléa imagines new ways of making that interact, adapt and share control and benefits with the more-than-human.

    Her work continues to explore embodied processes of making that are grounded in observation and interaction within natural and social systems.
