    Olivier Bemer

    Profile

    Olivier Bémer was born in Paris in 1989 where he lives and works.

    His work explores the way we engage with technology through different mediums, and how it affects our relationship to time, to ourself, and to others. His installations depict an adulterated reality in which archetypes simulate but fail to represent.

    His work has notably been shown at the Pernod-Ricard foundation, the Fiminco Foundation and the Emerige Foundation prize. His last film was selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. 

    Bémer is a graduate of ECAL, Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Fresnoy National Studio of Contemporary Arts.
