    Profile

    Designer and creative pattern maker, Jutta Klingel started out at Bernhard Willhelm in 2001 in Antwerp progressing into an essential role as Head of Atelier. During her fourteen years working with the brand, relocating to Paris and later to Los Angeles, she developed, in collaboration with Mr. Willhelm, a distinctive pattern design language which remains the brand’s foundation.  

    Klingel teaches at numerous Universities and Art Schools. She has held various Visiting Artist positions and Guest Professorships in Fashion Design.  

    In 2016 Klingel started collaborating as freelance designer and creative pattern maker with various fashion houses.  

    She also works with contemporary theatre and dance companies developing costumes and designs for productions.
