    Jason Glasser

    Profile

    Jason Glasser is an American artist and educator who lives and works in Paris, France. His diverse artistic practice has produced works in painting and drawing, installation, film and video, photography, performance and musical composition. His work has been shown internationally and appears in the collections of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques, France, the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York, and Le Point Ephémère, Paris, France.

    Recent projects include a one person show at Parker’s Box gallery in New York, a collaboration with clothing designer Vanessa Seward for the brand A.P.C, an interactive video project for the Centre Georges Pompidou, and a series of musical collaborations with the musician Peter Von Poehl for the Bodum design brandJason Glasser received a B.F.A. in painting at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an M.F.A. at Hunter College in New York City. He has taught at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the American School of Paris, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the Paris College of Art.
