Profile
Clarisse Labro earned a BFA in Studio Arts from Bard College and holds a Master in Architecture from Yale University.
After working with internationally acclaimed architects Shigeru Ban and Jean Nouvel, Clarisse and Mark Davis co-founded Labro & Davis architecture studio in Paris in 2011. Their projects and collaborations, located principally across Europe, include museums, hotels, restaurants, private homes and art galleries. Recently, they designed furniture for the new Parsons Paris-Romainville campus.
For the last five years, Clarisse has been teaching undergraduate architecture classes at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, and Masters classes at STRATE Ecole de Design in Meudon.
She is a member of the Full Circle Collaborative think tank which focuses their research on sustainable models for urban growth, urban governance, circular economy practices and the dismantling of social disparity and spatial injustice.
