Chaelon Costello is an actor and teaching artist based in Brooklyn. She serves as a Professor, First Year Coordinator, audition adjudicator, and curriculum committee member for the BFA in Dramatic Arts. Her class roster has included Foundations in Acting, Intermediate Acting: Classical Technique, Performance Preparation, Portfolio: Reflective Practice, Directed Research: Devised, Directed Research: Thesis, and as a collaborator with Rebecca Tuffey in Alexander Technique for Classical Performance. For CoPA’s Summer Program, she has taught Classical Scene Study. She joined Fordham University during the 2014 academic year as a Guest Artist, working with the MFA playwrights in Devised Theatre and Collaboration. Chaelon is a Resident Teacher with the Williamstown Theatre Festival (2018, 2019) and has taught in Residence at Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts. As an actor, Chaelon has been invited into workshops at BAM, The Old Vic, and with Frantic Assembly.
