    Marisa Morán Jahn believes that there is a place for artists alongside policymakers in shaping the way people interact with the world. For Jahn, the director of the BFA Integrated Design program at Parsons School of Design, art is a way to see, understand, and experience the world in new ways. 

    At Parsons, students learn that the users of a design should play a key role in its creation. Jahn co-designs her work, which deals with care, equity, and representation, with the audiences who will be engaging with it—thereby creating richer and more dynamic outcomes.
