Faculty Development

The Faculty Professional Development Network at The New School is committed to supporting faculty success in teaching, research and creative practice, leadership, and service. Hosted by the Provost's Office and providing services to full-time and part-time faculty university-wide, the network offers workshops on a variety of topics, provides online resources, and creates formal and informal opportunities for faculty to connect with one another for mutual support and personal and professional growth while ensuring consideration of issues of inclusion and social justice. The Faculty Development website is intended to be the single source for comprehensive information about faculty teaching, research and creative practice, leadership, and service. If you have suggestions for additional resources to include on the site, please contact Rita Breidenbach.
