Research Support

Recognizing the important role of research within the New School community and its influence beyond campus, the Office of Research Support (ORS) is committed to supporting faculty, staff, and students in their research, creative, and professional practice. The Office of Research Support assists with proposal preparation, managing awards, and the responsible conduct of research. ORS works to foster a culture of honesty, accuracy, objectivity, and efficiency that supports high-quality research, creative practice, and professional activity.

The Office of Research Support is the central resource and expert partner on research administration, providing support for and oversight of sponsored projects. ORS represents The New School as the institutional official for proposal submission and award acceptance, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, sponsor requirements, and university policies.
