    Advising
Bee.org (Building Environments for Education) is the beginning of an organization dedicated to furnishing educational spaces through open design. I believe that education is not only a fundamental human right, but also fundamental in solving many of our other large-scale social issues. To this end, my goal is to found the Bee.org organization to help facilitate the creation of sustainable, economic, and well-designed spaces while leveraging genuine community involvement. The organization will connect the multiple stakeholders (funders, fabricators, designers, educators, communities, governments) required for the installation of the furniture in three stages. First, communities in need choose from a catalogue of designs; second, designs are downloaded for free, fabricated locally with CNC technologies and flat-pack shipped to the school; and third, students and community members assemble the furniture.
