    newyork129 is a site-specific collection of clothing made in and around New York during 2012. The practice of making clothing that documents a certain place and time is an attempt to address the social sustainability of our garments. By rooting the creation of the clothing in its immediate surroundings and culture, I hope to create a stronger and more meaningful relationship between garment and wearer.
