• Profile:

    Will McHale was most recently director of the Making Center at Parsons for three years, where he played a key role in the design/build of the new 26,000 sq ft hub across three floors of 2W13/66 Fifth Avenue. Prior to the Making Center’s official launch in 2016, he chaired an Advisory Committee comprised of faculty, students, and staff to provide critical insight into the organization of the space and related technologies and tools. Prior to Parsons, Will spent ten years as an adjunct associate professor and shop supervisor in the Industrial Design Program at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He holds a Masters of Industrial Design from the University of the Arts and a BA in English with a minor in Fine Arts from the University of South Carolina. He has also studied Industrial Design Studies at Georgia Institute of Technology and Architecture Studies at Clemson University.
