Profile

Maria is a business and creative strategist who’s passionate about untangling complex challenges. Currently spearheading Design Strategy at Moonraft Innovation Labs UST, she helps companies envision solutions, get products and services off the ground, and find the right strategy for iteration, evolution and growth. By leveraging 10+ years in the industry, and an extensive design skillset - from UX Design to Business Model Innovation - Maria breaks down complex scenarios so organizations can imagine the future and take action.   

Born and raised in Colombia, she moved to San Francisco, CA in 2015 and graduated as an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts two years later. After getting the most of this thriving city and ever evolving environment, she moved to New York to continue her work in Design & Tech, while teaching Strategic Management at Parson's BBA. Her bi-cultural education is a cornerstone of her philosophy as a leader and educator, as she works to bring diverse voices together when building scalable collaboration methods. Today, Maria specializes in leading engagements in Experience Design, Platform Models and Digital Transformation, keeping Human-Centered Design as her compass to create and deliver value.
