Maria Boustead is the CEO, and Principal Product Designer of Po Campo, an internationally-distributed brand of bags that help you carry what you need on and off a bicycle with style and ease. She has deep knowledge of industrial design, particularly in packaging and soft goods, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship.
Prior to founding Po Campo, Maria worked as an industrial designer and brand strategist, solving problems for brands as varied as 3M, Pampers, and Yellowtail. She held the position of IDSA Chicago Chapter Chair from 2006-2008 and is currently on the Board of the League of American Bicyclists. Maria has presented about her entrepreneurial journey and the role of leading with, and by, design at the National Bike Summit, the Industrial Designer Society of America (IDSA) National Conference, the Outdoor Retailer Trade Show, among others.
