Profile
Christian is a Leadership Coach and Associate Professor for Strategic Management. He has been working in strategic design throughout his career, from evolving industrial design to product-service-system design working for the Studio de Lucchi in Milan, guiding interaction design projects and consulting programs for user centered innovation strategies working for IDEO in London, as well as assisting executive leadership in placing innovation competencies and communication models across organizations within his own professional practice. As an academician Christian has worked with the Polytechnic University in Milan (MFA Strategic Design), Carleton University in Ottawa (BFA Industrial Design), Zeppelin University (MBA) and HFG Pforzheim (MFA Creative Direction). He joined Parsons School of Design Strategies in July 2011 and has taught in all programs of the School. His interests, besides online teaching and online collaboration, is to evolve the process of strategy development, such as the design of non numeric assessment methods and decision making processes based on scope, purpose and value systems - to systematically use design to empower uncertainty and to embrace complexity.
