I'm an Artist, Designer. I'm a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I received my BFA from Philadelphia College of Art in 1973. While at PCA I received the Art Acheivement Award in 1972. I received my MFA from The University at Albany in 1987. I received The President's Award from that institution in 1988. I received the Adolphe Gottlieb Grant in 2004, The Rockwell Artist Grant in 2011. Recently I was awarded The ESKFF Foundation Studio Residency and Grant in 2014. I've taught Visual Communications 2&3, Design 1&2, and Visual Merchandising At Parsons School of Design. I began teaching at Parsons in 2003. I've also taught Beginng and Advanced Painting and a Post Bachelor Intensive Studio at Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art in Pont-Aven, Brittany, France from 2002-2008.
