    Part-time Lecturer


    Bopha is of Cambodian descent and a native of Chicago. Her educational background meshes fashion, art and architecture: Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Fashion Design at the Art Institute of Chicago. Bopha has taught in Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA. In 2009, she was invited by AEFSIP Fair Fashion Operations Manager to mentor a team of female workers, instructing them on industry standard training; helping the women to reintegrate back into society through obtaining fair wages while working in safe environments. Bopha is the co_founder + designer behind the brand HUL ARNOLD, founded in 2013. HUL ARNOLD has been featured in international publications namely: Wallpaper*, and has collaborated with a world_class team of music composers, computer scientists, visual artists on a futuristic + interactive concert experience of the 21st century titled Synaesthesia Playground.

    As professor, Bopha's goal is to actively engage students in experiential learning through critical thinking and extensive research: create creative learning objectives to develop modern & subversive methodologies, whilst actively pursuing the ideas of conceptual thinking.
