    Andrew Jarman

    Profile

    Andrew Jarman uses various mechanical apparatuses, including both still image and motion capturing, to practice the act of looking. Nineteenth century technological advances and shifts in visual perception inform his use of photography as a collaboration between personal memory, mass production, and both individual and collective desires. He is a graduate of Pratt Institute, and currently is based in New York City where he is faculty at Baruch College and Parsons School of Design, and a full-time technician at the Making Center at Parsons.
