Michael Kirk is an artist, educator and master printmaker. His solo exhibitions include the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University Duke House, New York City; Gimpel and Weitzenhoffer Gallery, NYC; The Print Club, Philadelphia, PA; Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano, Lima, Peru; Norske Grafikere, Oslo, Norway and many other national and international venues. His works are in the collections of The Brooklyn Museum; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institute; National Museum of Art; ICPNA, Lima, Peru; Municipal Council, Moracado, Venezuela; and numerous university and corporate collections. In addition to his role at The New School/Parsons he is a professor of printmaking at Pratt Institute and has been a visiting professor at Columbia University and Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, National Academy of Arts, Norway. He resides in downtown Manhattan.
