Howard Davis has been a part-time faculty member at Parsons since 1989. He is a shoe designer that has worked with companies such as Bergdord Goodman, Delman, Pappagallo, Andrew Geller. Howard founded his own company, the 8-Track Shoe Corporation in 1979, clients included Ferragamo, Perry Ellis, Converse, Nine West (Easy Spirit). Howard assisted with the shoe wardrobe of the film Putney Swope and additionally with singer Michael Jackson, the Jazz Dance America group and the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Davis has served on the board of GQ: Gentlemen's Quarterly and has won the Leather Industries of America's Shoe Designer Award.
