• The 2024 New York String Orchestra Seminar (NYSOS) arts management internship is a paid position open to highly qualified students pursuing studies in arts management, student musicians considering transitioning to music administration, and individuals who intend to pursue entrepreneurial careers combining roles as creative artists and administrators. During the 11 days of the seminar, interns master skills related to arts administration through hands-on experiences and small group discussions. The internships are overseen by the director of New School Concerts. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and although there is no upper age limit, preference is given to currently enrolled full-time students. Interns are required to stay in the housing provided by the seminar (in dual occupancy rooms). Meals and local transportation are provided. Interns must arrange and pay for their own transportation to and from New York City.
